Style Sunday: The One With The Neon Shoes…

Hey guys,

It seems like neon green ( and neon colours in general) are making a massive resurgence this summer… and you know what? I’m not mad about it! I probably won’t take on the trend in full force but I really don’t mind a little pop of neon colour in my summer wardrobe rotation.

I did a photo shoot with a local photographer( shout out to Catherine from  pure light photography https://www.purelightphotography.info ) in Toronto’s famous Graffiti Alley. With such vivid colours displayed through the art, I kept my outfit extremely simple:

Outfit details:

White V-Neck Blouse: Urban Planet
Distressed Denim: Old Navy ( Curvy profile line)

Both of these pieces are very easily accessible items that can be found at most retail stores. Find the store that best suits your style and comfort. I prefer old navy jeans as they have a curvy style of denim that accommodates a sister like me who is a little bottom heavy. 🙂

Now the shoes are a piece I found on a whim the day before the shoot at Forever 21. I wanted a cute heel that could be multipurpose for me; good for work, church and even for days my back and knees won’t allow for the  4 and 5-inch heels I love :).

These 3-inch faux suede pumps were perfect for the occasion and were just the pop of colour needed to bring an otherwise very basic outfit to life!

To complete this outfit I kept my jewellery simple:

Yellow fringe earrings: Forever 21
Pandora Bracelet
Nameplate Necklace

That’s it, folks! If you are ever in the Toronto area, I highly suggest booking a shoot with Catherine. !

Have a blessed day and remember,
