Hey guys!
I’m back again with another edition of “Style Sunday”. This one features a steal! As I was perusing the shelves at my local H&M I saw this cream coloured dress with black and brown polka dots on it. I just looked at it and decided it was ugly! But I have a thing for “ugly” patterns and prints. Something about them just calls to me, as was the case with this dress!
This dress is made from polyester material. It has three quarter length sleeves and its length reaches just below the knees… on me that is ( I’m only 5’3 1/2!) It tapers in at the waist to help give the dress some shape. This dress also boasts a large keyhole opening at the back of the dress. I however chose to keep It modest and paired It with a camisole to cover my back. I mean I’m all for a open back, but seeing as I was heading to church this morning,I felt as if modesty was key!
I woke this morning to lots of snow falling so that changed my shoe plans. I just wasn’t in the mood to wear winter boots and change my shoes when I got to church, so I opted for a pair of cognac coloured booties that I’ve had for at least a decade… they’ve got some wear and tear to them!
I felt a little fancy so I finished off the outfit with my freshwater pearl set from ” Lia Sophia” ( a gift from a dear friend as token for being in her wedding 🙂 love ya girl!)
Here’s what I wore on my face:
L.A. Girl Concealer in the shade “Fawn”
Laura Mercier loose setting powder
Becca X Jaclyn Hill Highlight in “Champagne Pop” and “Amaretto”
Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner in the colour “Onyx”
MAC “Chestnut” lip liner paired with Kat Von D ” Crucifix”
None of the clothing I wore today is still available for purchase, but here are some links to some similar items if you are interested in recreating this look!
And here’s the final look…
Have a wonderfully stylish Sunday and week and remember…
