Hey guys!

I hope this Monday is finding you in good health and good spirits. I am in extremely good spirits today!  I received some good news today from a friend! I won’t share the news here on my blog because my friend is extremely private but it is news I personally have been praying for for a long time! Today, I literally cried real living eye water boo hoo tears in the middle of my work day and could care less who was watching! Happy tears are the best tears and I was so happy to shed these ones! 🙂

Usually when a song resonates in my spirit,  I don’t usually know the reason why until later. The song “Made a Way” by Travis Greene has been on replay in my head ( and on my phone, in the car, on the Bose speaker etc.. lol) for the past few days. When this situation with my friend happened today  I understood why! Let me break down the song lyrics for you as it relates to me right now.

I have been in situations before where I was just about to throw in the towel. Literally didn’t see a way for whatever negative situation that was occurring to become positive. But this section of the song reminds me that even though I can’t see the big picture, God has my life planned out already and has everything in control! Sometimes its hard to give up control to someone else even the very person who created us! I still struggle with this sometimes but as of late ( and due to my stubbornness at times to give up control) He has just been taking control whether I like it or not! I’m learning slowly.. Pray for me ! 🙂

I can’t ever speak enough about God’s love and his undying mercy! I literally should be dead.. and I’m not saying that to be cute. I shouldn’t be here today but for God’s mercy and his love and unmerited favour on my life I am here! He’s brought me out of some dark places and I am forever humbled and grateful.

I can say for my friend and the situation my friend was facing that there were times where my friend could have totally given up hope and accepted what man had declared. But my friend also has a strong relationship with the God I serve so I know that it is easy for my friend to relate to this section of the song. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING is impossible when God is in the midst! The biggest obstacle you are facing, He can remove it! Those mountains or that wall blocking the view of a brighter tomorrow , He can tear those down! Another ad lib ( impromptu lyrics) in this song says ” Strong holds are breaking” whatever has you bound, God will remove it!  How does He do it???!! In all actuality, I don’t know! I do know that He is God all powerful, all knowing and able to do all things!! The line that tops it all off and brings tears to my eyes as I write this is  “Don’t know why but I’m grateful” I am eternally grateful that God is still in the business of “making a way” for His people!  My heart is full! My spirit is full. God showed up today and through my friend reminded me that He is currently and will always make a way!!

Please check out this song “Made a Way” by Travis Greene! I hope it blesses your soul as much as it does mine! Actually check out his entire album ” The Hill”! This young man truly can relate the songs he sings. He was born as a stillborn baby and was resuscitated! At the age of fout, he fell from a four story building and was dead and was once again resuscitated! If that is not living proof that God makes a way, then I don’t know what is! How are you going to be declared dead 2 times and live and not sing  the praises of Almighty God! How Sway? How!! ( lol)

Whatever He has planned for your life, nobody nor anything can stop it!
