Hey y’all

Quick post today.  It seems like the last few weeks I have been focused on the topic of “better” as last week’s post followed the same theme. But that’s because last week was such a horrible week for me. Now I’m in no way naive to the point that my trivial problems are nothing in comparison to the trials many people are facing in our world, but hey stress is  serious thing and can really be a detriment to you! Such was my predicament this week. I noticed all over my social media and even with people in my close circle, people were having a rough go of it this week!

By happenstance , a song was suggested to me on my Apple Music by the artist Leandria Johnson. I have been following this artist since she appeared on BET’s “Sunday best” television program and fell in love with her voice and her realness (she has struggled at times in her walk with God but she has never pretended to be perfect ) The song was called “Better Days” . I don’t know how I missed this song as it came out last year, but I guess God wasn’t ready for me to hear it then. It came to me at just the right time.

I want to leave you guys with the song and lyrics today and pray it brings hope and peace to you as it did this for me this week! Be assured dear friends that better days are just around the corner. Cling close to God and don’t give up even though you may not be able to see how things can get better! God’s working it out! This is a much a reminder for myself as it is an encouragement for you lovely people out there!
