Hey guys!

I know, I know I missed last weeks edition of Monday Motivation, bur it was for good reason! I had the opportunity to attend the Hillsong United Empires Tour at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario Canada. What an amazing event! I’m sure for the next few Monday’s some ( or most :P) of my inspiration will come from my time spent there! The presence of God was truly in that place and It was definitely a experience I will never ever forget.

At the Hillsong United concert, there was a young artist by the name of Lauren Daigle who started off the worship experience. I must admit, prior to purchasing my tickets for Hillsong I had never listened to any of her music. I had seen her album and singles as recommendations for me to listen to from my Apple Music account but never actually listened to her. When I realized that she was the opening act, I decided to check her out. Her songs ( and voice ) were awesome! However, it was when I saw her in full worship mode I instantly connected with her! This beautiful, calm spirited human with the voice of an angel! I became ( and still am) an instant fan!

One song she ministered that really stuck out to me was the song ” Trust in You”. (Literally been on repeat for a week straight lol)

Do you ever have those moments when you just can do  nothing but ask God “Why me?” Is there ever a time where you feel like you ask Him questions and you just can’t seem to hear an answer? Well I know I have and if you are anything like me, impatience is a flaw of mine that I am diligently working on fixing.

This song served as a reminder that you are not always going to know the reason why things happen and you don’t know what your future holds, but will you trust God enough to know that He does all things well?

It’s hard sometimes not to take life by the reigns and take control of its direction but remember its God who wrote our life story. He knows each direction your life will take! Why not let someone who already knows how the story ends get you there? Why mess with The Authors perfect manuscript?

Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart;   do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
