As black history month draws to a close let’s just take a moment to reflect and give thanks for our freedoms. Here in North America we are free to worship God without prejudice and express ourselves without persecution. Many others in various parts of the world don’t have the same freedoms that we do. Women in many parts of the world, don’t have the liberty to live freely…. I hope that one day we will all share the same freedoms we all at times take for granted.

“And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

                Free at last! Free at last!

                Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!  “

I’m blessed! Not only am I physically free, but I’m free in Christ Jesus! Let Freedom Ring!!
