I attended my church organizations ( Church Of God of Prophecy or COGOP in short) Eastern Canada National Convention over the weekend and Friday night, as the service was ending the worship team sang this song. It’s a song I haven’t heard in a long time. I have a dad who has been experiencing some health concerns over the past 2 years ( I wont go into details because I’m not sure how he would feel about me sharing his life on my personal blog) and It’s been emotionally  and physically draining on the whole family. But for me in particular, although I have been dealing with a lot, I have such peace knowing that someone greater than I, has my back. This song served as a reminder that when I am down, God lifts me up. When I feel weak , He is my strength. The strength that God gives me is a strength parallel to no  vices of my own.

I know that God wouldn’t give me anything I couldn’t handle. Sometimes we as people doubt the strength that God has equipped us with, In your darkest moments, trust in Him, lean on Him… cling to Him…. He gives a strength like no other.
